In my copious amounts of free time (cough), I mess around with all sorts of things. :) Of course, not since I've entered grad school--all of the below is several years old.
Home-made CG Movie Effects
Right, so everything you heard is true. We wanted to see if we could do it. So, some friends and I decided one summer to push to boundries of our imagination, complete and utter lack of money, and free time to produce. . .a Star Wars movie.
Of course, you may think we're nerds. In fact, at this very moment you may be rolling your eyes. However, while we still haven't quite finished it yet, what we've done so far is pretty cool. But don't listen to me when you can judge for yourself. Here are a few clips, in varying formats, of past work we have done. Bear in mind that these are still works in progress. Drawing and Painting
Yes, I am a former art major. No, I don't think I have any real skill, but I've not stopped doodling and never will. I don't have much in electronic format, but here's what I do have. These days I'm mostly a cartoonist. For more interesting art, check out my bro's site. In the meantime, here's a color painting I did while in Florida. . .which for some reason I documented the making of . . .
In addition, I have started taking ceramics classes at Berkeley! I'm terrible, but have had a LOT of fun learning how to muck around with mud. Here are pictures of some of my most recent creations:
